THE WORK BEHIND THE CARE

Thoughtful care also means attention to the essentials.

We invest in the things families may not immediately see: upkeep, fire-safety equipment servicing and renewable-energy infrastructure. See the real provider updates below, and ask about the arrangements for the home you visit.

FIRE SAFETY SUPPORT

Serviced by Bay Fire Safety Solutions

Bay Fire Safety Solutions supports El Shaddai with fire-safety equipment servicing. Their local business provides fire-equipment servicing and related safety services. We believe the day-to-day attention to equipment and preparedness matters as much as the welcoming environment.

Please ask our team about the latest servicing records and site-specific arrangements during your viewing.

SOLAR & ENERGY RESILIENCE

NH Solar support at 41 & 43 Colin Street

Our properties at 41 and 43 Colin Street are supported by NH Solar for solar and battery-energy infrastructure. This investment forms part of our ongoing effort to make our facilities more resilient to power interruptions.

Backup capability and duration depend on the operating system, load and conditions; we do not promise uninterrupted power.

THE PEOPLE

Good care begins with people you can speak to.

Facility Manager Charlene Kilian helps coordinate the homes and the care team. Sister van Eeden carries out rounds to help identify concerns early and arrange follow-up as appropriate. Our team has also completed practical care training covering falls prevention, first aid, safe handling and infection prevention.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT · REAL TRAINING

Behind the warmth is a team that keeps learning.

Our team took part in practical food-safety and chemical-handling training with Spectank in May 2025. On 16 September 2026, we shared medical-skills development training covering falls prevention, vital-sign monitoring, first aid and emergency response, safe positioning, medication awareness and infection prevention.

Training is one part of our approach to care. Ask our team about the support and nursing arrangements appropriate for your loved one.

Questions families often ask

How much does care cost?

The monthly fee depends on the room and care needs. Our team provides an individual quote following an assessment.

Can we visit before deciding?

Yes. Viewings are by arrangement, and our team can explain room options and suitability.

What is excluded from the monthly fee?

Adult incontinence products, personal toiletries and medication. Confirm any individual extras in the written quotation.

Do you accommodate enquiries from abroad?

Yes. We can discuss a family call and help you work through local viewing and assessment arrangements.

How do you approach fire safety and power resilience?

Bay Fire Safety Solutions services fire-safety equipment for El Shaddai. NH Solar supports the solar-energy systems at 41 and 43 Colin Street. During a viewing, ask about current servicing documents and which services are backed up at the particular home; no system can guarantee uninterrupted supply.
